Oh, how I loved hanging out at the Gordon Avenue Library in Charlottesville. They used to have these large pillows on two stair risers next to a large bank of windows where I would sit and read for hours. I loved that library and was lucky enough to bring my own two children there, too. The joy of reading and hugs I think are two of the most important things that you can give your children. The Who Knows series—yes, there is only one currently but more to follow!—was born from a mom sharing with her young daughter the things happening outside with the approaching fall season. We are lucky to experience the brilliance of all the seasons here in Charlottesville. I’m grateful to have my wife, Sara, family and friends help me with this children’s book journey.
The specific details: I graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Economics. I have worked as an investment consultant, math and computer teacher, basketball coach and now own two small businesses here in Charlottesville. I didn’t spend the first 40 years of my life with much art in my life, but am trying to get in as much as I can now including dancing, music, drawing, and writing.
